Solar modules for homes and businesses in Russia

Every sunrise brings power and profit

Bifacial SunEvo EVO 6N modules with up to 770 W cut your electricity bill. You sell the surplus to the grid under Russia's microgeneration law.

  • 770 Wmodule power
  • 24.8%efficiency
  • 30 yearspower warranty

Example: 10 modules in Kaluga Oblast produce 35.4 kWh on an average June day. That is worth ₽165: ₽55 in savings and ₽110 from surplus sold.

The module

SunEvo EVO 6N: more power per square metre

N-type HJT cells without busbars, glass on both sides and an anodised aluminium frame. The module works with both faces and loses less power in the heat.

  • Up to 770 W and 24.8%

132 half cells on 3.1 m². Higher efficiency means fewer modules for the same power.

  • Two active faces

The rear face uses reflected light and reaches 90 ± 5% of the front. On light ground and on snow the gain is noticeable.

  • 0BB technology

No busbars on the cells: shorter current paths, lower losses and an even black surface.

  • 2.0 mm double glass

Glass on both sides and a PIB edge seal. The module passes the IEC salt mist test at level 8 and withstands 5400 Pa.

  • Made for heat

A temperature coefficient of just −0.24% per degree. On hot days it loses less power than ordinary panels.

  • 15- and 30-year warranties

15 years on the product and 30 years on power output: at least 90.3% of rated power after 30 years.

How much you save and earn

Pick your region and the number of modules. The calculation takes into account Russia's tariffs from 1 October 2026, solar yield from PVGIS and the sale of surplus to the grid. All amounts in roubles.

An indicative estimate, not an offer. Tariffs come from the regional regulators' orders in force from 1 October 2026. Yield: PVGIS 5.3 (European Commission) at the optimal tilt with 14% system losses, minus snow losses in winter. Price for surplus: the average paid by Kaluzhskaya Sbytovaya Kompaniya from March to September 2026; for other regions an estimate. Tariff growth: the Ministry of Economic Development's forecast for 2027, 2028 and 2029, then 4% a year. System cost estimated from 2026 prices including inverter, mounting and installation; an inverter replacement is planned in year 15. Check values marked “estimate” with your electricity supplier.

How it works

How sunlight turns into money

  1. 1

    The modules make power

From sunrise to sunset, on cloudy days too. The inverter turns it into AC for your building.

  2. 2

    You use your own power

During the day your home or business runs on solar first. You buy less from the grid and your bill drops.

  3. 3

    You sell the surplus

Under the microgeneration law the supplier of last resort (the guaranteeing supplier) buys your surplus: up to 50 kW from individuals, up to 150 kW from businesses. Individuals pay no income tax on it until 1 January 2029.

Selling requires a bidirectional meter, which the grid company installs. Purchases and sales are netted hour by hour, so using the power yourself during the day pays best.

Questions and answers

What people ask most

How much energy does one module produce?

In Kaluga Oblast an EVO 6N 770 W module produces about 780 kWh in its first year, per PVGIS, allowing for winter snow and the rear-side gain. In the south, for example in Astrakhan Oblast, it is about 1,010 kWh.

Can I sell surplus power to the grid?

Yes. Russia's microgeneration law has been in force since 2019. Since 26 September 2026 the limit has been 50 kW for individuals and 150 kW for sole traders and companies, but never more than your grid connection. The supplier of last resort must sign the contract and pays the average wholesale price: in Kaluga Oblast ₽3.82 per kWh on average in 2026. For individuals this income is free of income tax until 1 January 2029.

How long until the system pays for itself?

That depends on the tariff, the region and how much power you use yourself. In our Kaluga Oblast examples the system pays for itself in about 4 years for a business with daytime use and in about 11 years for a private home. Work out your own case in the calculator.

Do the modules work in winter and on cloudy days?

Yes, but less. In Kaluga Oblast December brings about 2% of the yearly output, June about 14%. Snow slides off double glass faster at a tilt of 35 degrees or more. Cold makes the modules more efficient, and the rear face catches the light reflected by snow.

What does a bifacial module add?

The rear face uses reflected light. On a roof that usually adds up to 5%, on the ground with good reflection, such as snow or light gravel, noticeably more. The calculator cautiously assumes 3% on a roof and 7% on the ground.

How big and heavy is the module?

2384 × 1303 × 33 mm and 37.9 kg. The module withstands static loads of 5400 Pa at the front and 2400 Pa at the rear and has an anodised aluminium frame. Modules of this size need a suitable mounting system.

What is the warranty?

15 years on the product and a 30-year linear power warranty: at most 1% loss in the first year, then at most 0.3% a year. After 30 years the module still delivers at least 90.3% of its rated power.
